Our approach of building environmental simulation workflows from modular tools entirely in Jupyter notebooks has generated new tools and has matured to include deployment of dashboards and interactive workflows as standalone web apps that do not depend on Jupyter. We can now prototype quickly in Jupyter and deploy an end-user version with code hidden with one command. We will demonstrate the latest capabilities of these rapid prototyping tools through examples in hydrodynamic modeling using Quest, Param, Panel, and pyUIT for data management, numerical model definition, dashboarding, and High Performance Computing (HPC) access, respectively.
