The NASA Atmosphere-SIPS (Science Investigator-led Processing Systems) team is tasked with creating cloud and aerosol products from the VIIRS instrument aboard the S-NPP and JPSS-1 Earth-observing satellites. In order to monitor the ingest, processing, and delivery of files, we have developed a monitoring system (using python) to observe every step in the process. Our main tool, the status page, is used for real time monitoring and shows the current state of the system.
