The pymolsnips Library for Advanced Visualization of Protein Structures
Spectacular images of proteins and nucleic acids often appear on the covers of leading science journals. A popular program for the preparation of such images is PyMOL (> 100,000 users). To make such advanced figures, many parameters often need to be set. This is often done in a script file of PyMOL settings and commands. We made a library of PyMOL code fragments for 12 popular text editors to speed up the assembly of new scripts. These code snippets can be invoked with tab triggers for rapid script assembly. The library is found on GitHub at MooersLab/pymolsnips.
